I have what I think to be Poa Trivilais in a large section of my yard. It is lighter green, fast growing (now in September) and tends to lay flat. Last year I baked this section with clear plastic, tilled and planted regular Black Beauty. Am I wasting my time overseeding that area this fall with Ultra before trying to kill all the light green, fast growning grass that is now prevalent? I live in Delaware. Thanks

Hi Ron - You most likely do have Poa Trivialis. Unfortunately the plastic will not kill it permanently. You will need to spray it with round-up in order to be rid of it. You can then reseed about 7-10 days after you spray.
