Humates

I have two dogs and want to be sure that the fertilizer I use is safe around pets. My children also play with the dogs in the backyard. I've read that humates are important, do you have any products that contain humates?

Humates are very important in improving the soil. Humates are the fossilized remains of plant and animal life from the time of the dinosaurs and the humic acid from humates feed the beneficial microbes in the soil. This will improve the soil and make it more productive for growing good grass. The Jonathan Green product which contains the highest percentage of "humates" is called Natural Beauty Lawn Fertilizer.
