Without a doubt the best grass seed mixture on the market! D.Krantz Franklin, MA

Hands down Jonathan Green grass seed out performs any other on the market!! I topsoiled and leveled 2 large areas in my yard this April. Each area about 20x30, maybe bigger. The bag said to expect germination in 10-14 days, I had signs of grass in 7 or 8 days, I couldn't believe it! It's continuing to fill in and the rich dark green color looks amazing! My wife continues to comment on how good the lawn came out. Now I want my whole yard to look as good as the Jonathan Green areas. Safe to say, I'll be renting an overseeder in the fall and doing my entire yard with Jonathan Green grass seed. I highly, highly recommend!

In response to the September 20th post - This mixture does not contain Kenblue Kentucky Bluegrass. Perhaps this is a different brand of grass seed you are referencing. Our Sun & Shade Grass Seed Mixture contains the following: 30% Golconda Tall Fescue, 20% Montana Tall Fescue, 15% Frontier Perennial Ryegrass, 15% Madison Kentucky Bluegrass, 10% Stanton Perennial Ryegrass, 10% Carson Chewings Fescue. This is our best selling grass seed mixture and has been for years. We hope that this helps. Thank you, Jonathan Green Seedsmen

This grass seed is great. I am an amateur gardener. With dirt from my neighbor's pool dig-out I leveled off some of my yard. I followed directions and the grass came in GREAT! Everyone is envious. I tried another seed brand in another area, and it was not half as good. Thank you Jonathan Greeen.

Product contains Kenblue Kentucky Bluegrass which doesn't rate highly with NTEP. Surprised that this vareity would be used. Tends to be in lesser mixes as its more economical.
