Which products cannot be used together?

DO NOT apply seed with Veri-Green Crabgrass Preventer plus Lawn Fertilizer or any of our other weed controls.

We don’t recommend applying weed controls or fertilizers together, as you risk burning your lawn. You can, however, apply two of these products together if one has fertilizer and the other one doesn’t.

For example, if you’re having a severe crabgrass infestation, you can apply Veri-Green Crabgrass Preventer plus Lawn Fertilizer and Lawn Weed Control in early spring (late February to mid-April).

The rule of thumb is function – if two products have different functions, it is usually possible to apply them together.
