How can we help?

Wild onion

Answer:

Wild onion have thin, waxy spear-like leaves and usually grow in clumps. It is often confused with its close cousin, wild garlic. Wild onions have flat leaves while wild garlic has round leaves.

To remove wild onion from your lawn cut the tops off to leave an open wound. Apply a selective spray to the opening made by cutting the top off.  Plants will need to be sprayed more than once and for more than one season.
