The soil is warm, air temperatures are cooler, autumn rains are more plentiful, and weeds are less active, creating an excellent environment for seed germination before leaves start falling and the winter cold arrives.
Q. Do I have to reseed dead patches in my lawn or will it grow back?
A. If you have a patchy lawn, the dead grass will not regrow. The best solution is to overseed the lawn or introduce some fresh seed into the thin, patchy areas.
