We don’t recommend applying two of our weed controls or fertilizers together, as you risk burning your lawn. You can, however, apply two of these products together if one has fertilizer and the other one doesn’t. The rule of thumb is: if two products have different functions, it is usually possible to apply them together.

  • Apply Summer Survival Insect Control with Lawn Fertilizer to a dry lawn a day or two after mowing

  • We recommend waiting at least 24 hours for people and pets to enter the treated area after application to allow the product to activate. After applying Summer Survival Insect Control with Lawn Fertilizer, water your lawn to move the fertilizer to the roots.

Follow all label directions for products that contain pesticide controls for re-entry instructions. All control products have been screened by the Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and are properly labeled for use on lawns or gardens. Please read and follow all label directions.

  • 40% Slow release: feeds the lawn for 2 months.

  • We recommend applying this product as needed, or once per year during summer. Wait 60 days before re-applying.

  • Our recommendations for storing your fertilizer:

Place it in a cool dry place, off of the ground, out of direct sunlight, and keep it away from moisture. Keep bags (especially that have already been opened) containing unused product in a locked storage area inaccessible to children and pets. Do not store near feed or foodstuffs.

To prevent cross-contamination, do not store near open containers of fertilizer, seed or other pesticides. Under these conditions, fertilizer will last at least two years.

    • Carefully read all instructions prior to application
    • Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating or drinking
    • This product is extremely toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates. Do not apply when weather conditions favor drift and runoff from treated areas. Drift and runoff from treated areas may be hazardous to aquatic organisms in neighboring areas.
    • To protect the environment, do not allow pesticide to enter or run off into storm drains, drainage ditches, gutters or surface waters.
    • Do not apply if heavy rain is expected.
    • Do not water to the point of runoff
    • Be aware of local ordinance requirements concerning lawn fertilizer applications. “Black out” dates may limit or prohibit lawn fertilizer applications from late fall to early spring in certain areas.
    • Do not allow children or pets to enter the area until dry
  • Always read and follow the product label before use.
